The Olympique Club in Dakar was founded in 1982 by Cheikh “Camarade” Sidya Berthé. It has evolved from a tennis club to a multi-sport facility offering swimming, fitness and weight training, martial arts, basketball, padel, and wellness and spa services. The club offers a supportive and friendly environment for members of all ages to learn various sports, as well as sponsoring large competitions and tournaments. New members and visitors are always welcome!
The Club has one 20 meter indoor and one 25 meter outdoor pool, as well as a wading pool for children. Swimming lessons for both children and adults are available, as well as aqua gym and aqua bike classes throughout the year.
Basketball courts are located next to the parking lot, and are available for reservations from 7am to midnight. Basketball group lessons are also available.
The dojo is in the center of the Club, and is one of the largest martial arts facilities in Dakar. A variety of courses are available for children and adults, including judo, kung fu, taekwondo, boxing, etc.
The Olympic Club organizes different sporting events each year such as international tennis tournaments and fitness challenges.
